Wheel Loader Wood Forks: Powering Australian Forest Farm Success

2025/02/26

Timber processing has always been an important industry in Australia’s vast forestry. However, the inefficiency of the traditional timber handling method has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the industry. Manual timber handling is not only labor-intensive, but also inefficient, often affecting the progress of subsequent processing.
In order to solve this dilemma, it was decided to introduce wheel loader with wooden fork attachments. After many visits and comparisons, the LGMA wheel loader was finally selected. This wheel loader is equipped with a special fork attachment, which fully meets the operational needs of the forest.
After the wheel loader was put into use, workers were able to insert the forks into the bottom of the logs with ease thanks to its strong power and precise control system. In the past, it took many workers several hours to complete the log handling work, now with the help of the wheel loader, only one skilled worker to operate, can in a short time to transport a large number of logs to the transportation vehicle.

With the wheel loader with fork attachments, the efficiency of timber transportation has increased by nearly 50%, from 500 cubic meters of logs per day to 750 cubic meters per day. At the same time, labor costs have been significantly reduced, as only three people are now needed to handle the logs, which would have required 10 people, resulting in significant savings in labor costs.
“The wheel loader with the fork attachment is a lifesaver for our forest! It has not only increased our efficiency, but also saved us a lot of money. Since using it, our wood processing business has been smoother, we have been able to deliver more orders on time, and our customer satisfaction has increased dramatically.”
In practice, the fork attachment has been used to efficiently handle a wide range of timber sizes thanks to its robustness and durability. The successful application of the wheel loader’s fork attachment in the Australian forest has set an example of efficient operation for the local wood processing industry, attracting the attention and emulation of many peers.
